My rating scale is based on what an Anime is, that is to say how good it was for its category. If an anime is a comedy then rate it on how good of a comedy it is and not the fact that it lacks drama (I rate things for what they are). The anime that receive a 10 have action, drama, comedy mixed together. I also consider how addicted I became to the Anime (did I just sit there for hours watching episode after episode or start watching anther series at the same time) and if I would view the series again. I also compare the anime to other anime in the same category that is why some of my ratings are different form those of Martinez; he hasn’t seen as much anime as I have.
